Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita...will soon open as Paraiso de la Bonita, a Luxury Collection Resort, Riviera Maya, Adult All-Inclusive by Marriott.

Saddened a bit to hear the news, while I was preparing my next blog post and taking time to research the resort's availability; I saw that they decided to join the Marriott brand.

Here's how I remembered the Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita resort.

"Hello Family!" that phrase would never be forgotten, as we think about this therapeutic, boutique resort. Located 20 minutes from (CUN) Cancun International Airport. This place was definitely an oasis of relaxation, personal customer care and deliciously prepared meals... not forgetting their Thalasso Therapy Spa. (The 1st and only one in North America). Grateful to experience it.

As we checked in, we first noticed the bellman (a gentleman) who stood about 6'7" inches tall and greeted us with a genuine smile and would say, "Hello Family, how's everything going? Welcome home." Now I've heard the expression, "welcome home," before... but when you put that "Hello Family!" at the start of the sentence, it really makes you feel relaxed and welcomed.

The receptionist at the front desk stood up when we walked into the room and about 5 people were formally introduced to us; wow, they all smiled and gave a bow or gesture of putting their hand on their heart. That's what's up!

The suite we enjoyed was an upgrade for Master Agents (Former AMR's top tier travel agents) with an Oceanview and plunge-pool, which was a great way to enjoy our 1-night stay. The food was amazing; fresh and served in a very professional manner, with the exception of our dinner (in which we may have had a rookie server_ he was a bit younger than the majority of the servers there and seemed a bit uninterested... but the meal was superb).

You really do need about 3 nights to give this resort a better assessment but with the free hydro-therapy experience, relaxing atmosphere, fine cuisine and spirits... made this resort & brand (Zoetry), by far; AMResorts (now Hyatt's) _ most relaxing properties. (A 5-star AAA Rated resort with several winning awards... Hope Marriott keeps it going!!

"We'll be back Family!" oh yeah....

Highlights: Enrique (Bellman / Tour guide)

Concierge (A kindhearted woman / full of information; making your vacation the best possible experience).

Library Bartender (made the best drinks there. Kind gentleman who made grown-up drinks).

We hope to return to observe how things are done in the future.
